Meet George

Some of you might have read the post I  previously made at my other blog about the  good insects in our  backyard.  I have seen two  praying mantis a couple of weeks and  some grasshoppers.    The big praying mantis   did not leave at all, he is still in our garden until now.  For the first two weeks, he stayed at my  vegetable garden and now he is in our flower bed.
We  greet him everyday and Ms. Burrito gave him a name, George.
Now George is  our additional pet here at our home.  Every morning, we always look if he is still there, and he is.  The kids always greets him "Hi George."
Pray for us too George, okay?

Three Different Sky Views on the Same Day

THe following shots were taken in one day while we were driving going to my niece in law down in Follansbee last weekend.
The first shot was taken when we were leaving Weirton.  As we  arrived  our destination Follansbee, the  look of the sky is different too.
And this last shot was taken when we were leaving Follansbee.
Sky Watch Friday is your chance to see different sky views around the world.

Garden Displays

I took a quick snap of this garden display at my niece-in-law's flower bed. I believe that these are my SIL's creations. Can you tell what they are talking about?
Ain't those two perfect for Blue Monday and Ruby Tuesday?

Gators

During our safari tour in Animal Kingdom, we've seen so many beautiful animals. I just wish that our ride wasn't so fast so we could have took decent photos.
Have a safe weekend everyone!

Fall Color

Some trees here in our area are starting to change their leaves.
This hibiscus plant is just one of them.
It's weird that in some part of the States, the weather is still hot but over here in our  place, it's getting cold.

Destiny

Photos were taken at the bridge that connects Weirton WV and Steubenville, Ohio.

Jennings and Nadine

I am linking this post to ABC Wednesday
I saw these love duckies at my FIL's garage.  I think, this is one of my SIL's creation.  Jennings is my FIL and Nadine is my late MIL.  I admire my father-in-law's  everlasting love for my late MIL, until now he love her dearly.

My sister-in-law, Chris, made these two bean bag toss game and gave it to Rick and Jill during the labor day party. The dog that she painted is Rambo, Rick and Jill's dog.

Tomlinson Run State Park

One of my family's favorite place to visit  during summer time is  the Tomlinson Run.  It is a state park located  in  New Cumberland, West Virginia.  It is a very big park with  different  outdoor fun things to do such as camping,  swimming, fishing,  picnic, and even have a golf  course.

The picnic area  is equipped with   Picnic Tables, chairs, and a  BBQ grill for each picnic shelters.  Adjacent to the shelter is a huge playground with different playground equipment and Park Benches.  Our kids  always have a blast every time we go there.  I love the place because I can explore the nature and  take photos of interesting and beautiful  part of the nature.

Last weekend, we explore the camping ground after the kids had fed the geese and played at the  playground.  That was our first time going to the camping ground which  is  pretty huge.  We saw  a couple of deer running around.  We were surprised of many people were camping that weekend, almost all of the yurt has occupancy in it.

We've never tried the huge  swimming pool in that park but we always drive by and  see  that  it is always packed with people during summer.  here are Adirondack chairs around it and a huge slide that  both adults and kids love.

he links provided in these post will lead you to a place where you can buy  outdoor furniture such as  Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, park benches  and more.  Terra Bound Solutions has everything  that you need when it comes to outdoor furniture.  Please visit the website  to see their huge selections.

Screws

When I look at the sitting area at the photo, it always reminds me of screws. Those are some of the things that they put at Tomlinson Run's picnic area.

Porch Construction Progress

It rained early this morning  so  the construction of our porch  was put on halt.  They were suppose to pour the  concrete at the platform today  but  they only brought the gravel   later this afternoon.  It's frustrating to see how slow the progress of the construction is going.    We thought that they would be able to finish  this project at the end of this month but by the  pace that they are taking, I doubt that  it would be possible.
What AI like about this company though is the the new technology that they have  with their business.  When we were canvassing for a price, they were the only ones who came back with a price  right away  They have a construction estimating software which makes it easier for them to give  construction estimate cost to the customers.  We also  canvassed  from other companies but they came back to us later but with much  cost that is why h we hired this one.  Anyhow, if you own a construction company and want to have this   useful tool, visit the link  above for more details.  Builder Space offers  the state of the art software to help   building industry a more productive  output..
