Explaining and Bonding with Pap.

Photos were taken when my wife and I went to pick up our car in Baltimore. We left our children wtih my dad (Thanks a lot Dad). We took a few pictures before we left. I am glad that our kids get to experience bonding with my father. I had no such luck with my grandpap because he passed away before I was born.

Whenever our kids are at Dad's, he likes to wear his worn out shirt and pants with holes in them because the kids like to give him a hard time for it lol.

It's a joy to see your kids bonding with their grandparent. Too bad my Mom was not around anymore to enjoy their presence.
Champ stole a kiss from EJ's cheeks hahaha.

This is how our son looks like when he is seriously explaining something to us.

He gets frustrated whenever he wants to tell us something and we can't figure out what it is hehehe. I mean he can speak clearly already but due to his frustrations, he can't seem to accurately convey his message lol.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Summer Breeze

When my wife and I visited my Aunt who lives in Maryland, it gave us an idea to spend a day or two in one of the vacation spot there with the rest of the family. It would be nice to have a get together because my family seldom do that. I mean, the rest of my siblings always spend time with Dad on big occasions but not with relatives. So I think that it's a good idea to get away in Weirton once in a while.
There are so many travel trailers for rent out there so the rest of the clan can go if they want to. My brother Dave owns an RV but I am not sure if it still works good. I remember two years ago, all of us went in Idlewild Park in Pennsylvania. It was so much fun, all of us had a great time. I hope that it would happen again sometime this summer so that each of us can catch up with what is going on, the plans, and other stuff that involves families.

I am longing for some summer breeze, I hope that this chilly weather would be over soon. I feel bad for the kids because they are stuck inside the house all the time.

Spending time with Dad

Spending time with my Dad is our main goal in coming back here in the mainland. We were gone overseas for almost two years so we have so much lost time to catch. This also give our children a chance to socialize with their cousins.

Shelby and EJ having fun.
Rylie and Christopher.
EJ and Hailey.
My sister Chris and her grand daughter Grace.
We always get together on weekends at my father's house. But of course we visit him also during the weekdays if the time permits because of my school schedule.
Here's ,my Dad with Rose. He will turn 88 years old this year.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Helmet Head

This is an elementary school pic back in the days when it was okay to have a bowl-cut (please don't do this to your kids). I swear, if I had pointy ears, I'd be a dead ringer for Mr. Spock.

Art Exploration

I took these photos when we were still in Korea. One of those moments where these two little ones are getting along well doing their arts and watching some shows as well.

Rylie love to explore with her art hobby while EJ just watch her and observing how her sister does art work. She uses crumpled paper or sometimes uses a paper towl and tear it into pieces and paste it in a big paper. One time she found our return address labels and stick them all in a sheet of paper hahaha.

When her mom asked why she did it, she replied "It's so much fun to do it Mom!" Then, she added "you don't really need it right?" Well, what can you do, as long as your kids are having fun it's alright. Besides, it is just a small stuff, but as parents of course, its our obligation to remind them what are the things that they are not allowed to play with.

They're at peace when they do their own stuff. Usually EJ ends up like these.

And finally fell asleep hehehe.

Have a great week everyone. May God bless you all!

Sunny Day

Last Sunday was a sunny day. My wife and I drove around Weirton to Steubenville Ohio. She took these photos while were driving. The first photo was on top of Marland Heights in Weirton. We are on the Steubenville road already when she snapped this one.
This is going to the Steuben Mall. I love those icicles!
This is Marland Heights going down town.
These are old steel from the steel mill.
My wife love taking pictures of this bridge.

Washing Hands

I am a clean freak. I can't stand being dirty so everything that I touch, I always want to wash my hands. I think my daughter got that trait from me because she is the same way. Do these count as watery Wednesday?

Malling

We went to the mall the day after Christmas to check out some sale and to give the kids something to do rather than being stuck at home.
Here are some snaps that Rose took.

My son was afraid to come near Santa but he was looking for him when Santa was not around anymore lol.

He even sit in this bench and said "I'll wait for Santa here". Isn't kids funny?

He had so much fun hiding on the clothes over at JC Penny's while her mom was doing a little shopping.

My daughter in front of JC Penny entrance.

When they got tired, we drove and dropped by at Lowe's to check something out.

Then we headed home. EJ was out while we were driving home. Poor little fella got tired of running around at the mall.

Childhood Memories

Whenever my on does things like dump shampoo in the bath tub or squirt out the toothpaste, it brings back memories of my childhood. My Mom used to tell that as a kid, I was always doing something that I am not suppose too hehehe. These photos were taken by my wife when we were still in Korea. My son dug out my deodorant what we like about EJ is that he is pretty honest, he always admits what he did.
