Martha Window Panels

These are the set of window treatments that we bought for our bedroom. We used to have the wooden box type rods that holds the curtain but we got rid of it and replaced it with this Umbra drapery rod set.
Just these set of rods and  panels, it cost  almost 200 bucks.  It's worth it though because we achieved the light and  fresh look that we were looking for in our bedroom.  You can see how it looks like over here.
THe Martha Window panels  are expensive but I love it's material  coz it's thick.  It's a simple design but it brings elegance in a room.

Recital Hall

Upon the recommendation of the music teacher at my children's school, we let our  daughter tried at the music program at one of the   accredited schools  for music   in PA.  I was hesitant at first because of the cost and that it would take our weekends together since classes are only offered on Saturdays.  But the teacher  is right because it would open a much larger opportunity for the little Miss in exploring her pursuit in music.  It's kind of like an excellent reason 7 upgrade for a newbie like my daughter.  I hope and pray that this would be  materialized with no problem.  Below is a shot I took outside of the recital hall when we were at the University last Saturday.

Attack Force Set

This is one of the gifts that we bought for our son's birthday last month. We found this at Hobby Lobby and our son just got mersmerized by it.
I think the bucket set cost $9.99.  It is a set of soldiers and  other  paraphernalia that  soldiers used when  they go on a mission.
These is a kind of  toys I don't like because they are so small.  Another set to clutter the house and more pieces for me to  pick up on the floor.  So far, the kids has been very responsible to  put it away after they play with it.

Mary Pappert School of Music

Our daughter was evaluated for her music ability at  Doquesne University last Saturday and she was very excited.  She won't be starting till September because she still has to finish this season at her  current  piano teacher here in the area. She would be participating her second recital from  Torrence Music.  It is kind of sad that she would be leaving her current teacher because she did a [phenomenal job in teaching our daughter.   There were so many students at the university when we went there.  I wonder if those  who take  lesson for saxophone ever buy their saxophones at guitar center?  Who knows but I am super excited for the new adventure that my daughter will come to face soon.
I took a photo of the three inn front of the Mary Pappert School of Music at Doquesne University.

Rafaela Boots for $8.89

Spring is just around the corner and a lot of Winter products are on sale. I snugged this boots for only $8.89. Well, it wasnt exactly that cheap but because I have accumulated points through Shop Your Way Rewards program from Sears and Kmart, I was able to used $16 worth of points, hence the $8.89.

I told my husband that even if this boots only last for a month, it is worth it. Aside from the price, I love that it is very light and I also like the design. My husband was not crazy about this one but I told him that I just need something that I can use when I walk to and from school to our house. I am using my good boots and it is getting tore up by the snow, so this one is perfect.  This Rafaela Boots from Canyon River Blues is very comfortable to walk with.
