Glad that I received this Duck Brand packaging tape from Shoplet to review. I will be getting ready to pack the box that I will be sending to my family in the Philippines. I did not send it during the holidays because it cost so much to ship but plan to send it this summer instead.  This HP260  packaging tape is crystal clear and has a wide temperature range  performance and is resistant to ultraviolet rays which eliminates the yellow color that you see on a regular packaging tape over time.  To  test its performance , I   used it for my Christmas decor storage boxes and the adhesive really work great!
I also received two Geckotech reusable hooks .  The one holds up 5 lbs and the other  hold up to 3 lbs.  I love that you can re-use it again and again because of its micro suction feature.  It is very easy to   transfer from one place to another as long as you use it on painted surface, glass, laminate, stainless steel, and tile.  What I love  is the fact that it doesn't damage the surface  when you remove it compared to some hooks with adhesive in it.
I used these reusable hooks in my closet.  I only have  few bags (5 to be exact) and they all go inside our closet, unorganized!  I just pile em up inside, that's why I don't buy anymore bags because I don't have  place to organize them.
So I am glad that I have these hooks, I can at least  hang two of them in there.  The three remaining is okay to sit inside  my closet as they are small.

EcoFFICIENT HP Paper

Disclosure: The author of this blog was NOT financially compensated to write this review. Opinions expressed is solely my own and may differ from others. The product/s being described in this review was provided for FREE for evaluation purposes only.

When I finally came here in America to live with my husband, I found out that my husband is not the most organized person. I say that maybe because I was used to organizing documents every time as my line of work as an office secretary.  Anyhow, I have a filing system with our important documents here in our home office and Shoplet  is my  go-tp store for every  office products that I need.
I received two  packs of  Ecofficient papers that provides high performance  but lower impact on mother earth.  If you would see  one pack, you would think that there would only be ten pieces of them but you are wrong.  I love that it is lighter weight because it takes up less space to file, bind and store.
This Hewlett Packard HP EcoFFICIENT 16# Paper fits up to 125 more sheets in the printer tray for less refilling which is really nice.  This absolutely helps save on postal and disposal costs.  It is perfect in  printing coupons!
Aside from the paper, I also got this  office mug that I really love.  I have so many coffee mugs now so I am  stationing this in my home office.
I also got  the  wooden HP Key holder.  It's just awesome when you buy something and the company  throws a little extra.  I did not expect to get the mug and key holder  so  they were a pleasant surprise.

Apple Ipod Touch

"Santa"  gave  our daughter an iPod touch for Christmas a couple of years ago and  it made our son wanting one.  "Santa" has been so generous and brought our son one last year.  So now, they both have an Apple iPod Touch.  Now that they both have the same  gadget, they  can play  the game that they both like together, the  Minecraft.  I find it awesome that finally, they get along so well with Minecraft.  I do however limit their use of it, they only have  an hour to play with it during school days and they have  a longer time during the weekend.  I do believe that  parents should have a control for kids use of electronics, that way they can still do other things other than  just  burying their faces on the gadget.  If you  don't control their time in using their gadgets, chances are, they won't be able to do even their homework.

Anyway, my son  asked us to get him something that he could put his iPod  to protect it.  I  found this Cellet Bergamo Vertical Leather Pouch w/Removable Belt Clip for Apple iPod Touch from

Cellular Outfitter website and it is perfect for my son's iPod.  I am so glad that it is  on sale for $9.99 from its original price of $24,99.  Cellular Outfitter  carries a large selection of  protective casing and other electronic   accessories  for any kind of  brand of gadgets such as  BlackBerry, Casio, Apple, HTC, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, and many more.

I love that they are affordable compared to other  competitors online.  I know this because I ran a price comparison for  it.  They are having a huge sale today and you could instantly save 25% off your order.  So if you are looking for some protective  casing for your iPad, cellphone, or tablet, check them out.  Alrighty, it's time for me to check other selection  for my son's iPod.  I promised him that I would get him a good one.

Grip and Flip iPhone Cases from Speck

Disclosure: The author of this blog was NOT financially compensated to write this review. Opinions expressed is solely my own and may differ from others. The product/s being described in this review was provided for FREE for evaluation purposes only.

Happy New Year  everyone!  Happy would be my song for the very first post I have to publish this year.  I am so happy that 2014 is over because 2015  is a new hope to start new beginnings for our family and for ourselves.  Although we have so many  great things happened last year, my family also  encountered some tough times due to some disasters in the family back home such as my Mom's home was wrecked by a super typhoon, one of my sisters was diagnosed with a tumor, and just before Christmas, my Uncle died  from cancer.  I am looking forward to a great 2015 (hopefully).

I will start my positive note  showing you these two  high quality iPhone cases that Speck sent me for review.  For my iPhone, I chose the CandyShell Flip in Pink and also chose the CandyShell Grip in blue for my husband's phone.
I am loving the Innovative Flip Back panel if my iPhone case.  It let you dock your iPhone without removing it from the case which makes it easier for me.
I just wish that the color pink inside  was on the  outer part of the case (I am a pink lover> you know) but nevertheless, I still love it  because it is easier for me to  remove it from my phone compared to the  former case that I have.
I do however love that they  put the pink color in the front side of the  phone casing, it makes it so chic and  pretty!  It's  worthy mentioning that  this iPhone case is the winner in  2011 as the  iPhone Case of the Year.  According to iLounge.com m the CandyShell Flip is  one of the best iPhone 4 accessories on the market!
If you have an iPhone 4s like  us, this  iPhone 4s case is perfect  because it  has a sleek and  hard plastic outer shell that  protects against impacts and slips easily in and out of your pockets. This protective iPhone 4s case also features a rubbery lining that absorbs shock which I really love because I am prone to shocks,  It  also extends to a bezel   which protects your screen and gives it no-slip stability when you place it face down, LOVE it!  This is available in a sweet range of two-toned color options.

My husband also love his hard-shell soft-centered design with finger pads for grip and thumb bumps for control.  Even though my husband doesn't play games on his phone, he truly loves this  because  he has a better grip on his phone.  This offers the same sweet dual-layer protection as the Speck's  popular CandyShell case which is soft, shock-absorbent rubber on the inside, and hard plastic on the outside. The rubbery lining absorbs shock and also extends to a bezel, which protects your screen if it falls screen-first, and gives it no-slip stability when you place it face down.

Although I love our old casings, I love the new ones better,  It also gave us an opportunity to save the personalized casings as  family remembrances since it has  our pictures in it.
Both of these casings   are regularly priced at $34.95 but  they are now on SALE for $24.95 just follow the  links I have provided above or  go straight to  the SPECK website to browse their collection for gadget protection. They have a ton of selection of high quality-made  casing for all types of gadgets.

Shopping Fragrance Online

I was browsing for some  colognes for my husband online and  one of the website I have found for fragrances sells the outremer fragrance.  I have never seen this from the store before so I am quite  intrigue.  My husband's birthday is coming up and the cologne I gave him two years ago is almost empty so he needs a new one.  Shopping for fragrances online is a lot easier because there are tons of selection and you can find deals too.

Tips for Throwing the Perfect Party

Entertaining is an essential tradition for many families, but even small parties can be a challenge when there is a lot to do to get everything just right. Whether you are planning an intimate dinner party for a small group of close friends, or a large gathering for the entire neighborhood, these entertaining ideas will make it a party to remember.
Make Decorations Easy

A few decorative touches are essential to spruce up your space for a party, but there’s no need to go overboard. A nice tablecloth as well as an abundance of candles are often all you need to prep your home for a party. For extra atmosphere, use a lot of tea lights to create mood. They’re inexpensive and easier to clean up than regular candles.

Plan Your Playlist

Set up a playlist on your computer or stereo ahead of time. Choose jazz, big band, or other music that is classy but unobtrusive. Start mellow, then crank up the energy as the party wears on.

Urge Guests to Mingle

Set up furniture in a way that encourages flow. Create at least one large open space in the party area, as well as several different spots to sit and talk. Pass hors d'oeuvres so guests have to circulate and talk to one another.

Have Guests Serve Themselves

Set up a buffet or open bar so guests can plate up their own food and mix their own drinks. This saves the host a lot of running back and forth to the kitchen, and makes the party flow much better.

Prep Ahead

Prep food and decorations the night before whenever possible. Mix sauces and put meat in marinade so you have less to cook the day of the party, but also do tasks like setting the table and getting out serving platters so you’re less rushed before the big event.

Have Comfortable Seating

If you’re inviting a lot of guests, upholstered chairs may be at a premium. Add cushions or pillows to un-upholstered chairs to make them more cozy for guests.

Relax and Have Fun

Be sure to make some time for yourself before the party begins. Have a drink with your spouse, listen to your favorite music, or take a long relaxing bath before the guests arrive so you’re ready to receive them.

Even if everything doesn’t go exactly as planned, your party is sure to be a success if you are committed to having a great time.
