Train Set Collection

My son is obsessed with cars and train. He's been working hard in helping us with chores so he could get paid and buy new trains lol.  I told him to save up his money so he can buy a real car  when he grows up and he said he will do that when he  has a real job already.. Smarty pants.
He told me that for his next birthday, he would like a table where he can set up his track so he doesn't have to remove it when he wants to play. He always laid out his tracks here in our living room and I ends up putting them away when I have to clean the house.

Biggest Burglary Fails

The threat of being burgled is a constant one, through countless television shows and movies, we have been conditioned to think of all thieves as masters of deception, equipped with elaborate plans to get at your belongings. In the real world, this is not so much the case, in fact, many thieves can and do make some ill-advised choices. Here are some stories of thieves who have clearly not thought through their plans properly and have ended up, rather hilariously, in hot water.

Poorly disguised man throws rock at door

In a story so comical that some would have trouble believing it, a man in California, dressed only in an ill-fitting shirt and pajama pants, knocks on the door of a meat and grocery store. Receiving no response, he leaves, but returns with what can only be described has a rough mask covering his face. He then very sneakily throws a rock at the glass door, setting off the alarm, which causes him to run away, tripping over his own feet while he does so. Not the smartest move by not the smartest man.

Permanent marker makes for a great disguise

In Iowa, two young men tried to break into a flat, but fled after being detected. The man who informed the police of the attempted robbery described the two as having ‘painted faces’ and wearing dark hooded tops. When police eventually caught up to them, it was revealed that their faces were actually just beards, moustaches and masks hastily drawn on with permanent marker – the choice of disguise for those on a tight budget.

  Tattoos can be revealing

A young man was caught breaking into a car and stealing its navigational device, courtesy of his strategically placed tattoo. The car was a surveillance vehicle designed to lure in thieves, and so was equipped with cameras, which the man obviously did not detect. These cameras revealed his name and birthdate which were tattooed on right side of his neck, making for quite possibly the easiest arrest of all time.

Asking your victim out on a date

Three robbers broke into a house in Columbus and accosted the couple living there, before leaving with some money and significant items. However, one of these men decided that these material concerns were not enough for him, and went back to the house two hours later to ask the female victim out on a date. Not only was he rejected, he was recognized as one of the three robbers and promptly arrested in front of the house.

Even though these stories are rather funny, burglary is and should still be a concern to all home and business owners. Not all burglars will make mistakes quite as unwise as these, and if you are worried about the security of your home or business, security professionals such as Stylewise Security can help you make some of these serious decisions.

Do you know of any other amusing stories of botched burglaries? Have you ever witnessed or experienced a burglary that might not have gone the thief’s way? Let everyone else know by leaving a comment down below.

Google Notebook

During the special assembly that the school together with Google have put together to reveal our daughter's winning design, Google also sent the school 250 pieces of shirts and notebooks. Each student were given a shirt and a notebook.
Doodle4Google was printed inside the bottom of the notebook.
At the top was the them for this year "If I could invent one thing to make the world a better place"
Over-all, it was a great experience not only for our daughter but for the whole school!
I thought that it wads really good of the Google company to provide all these.  Voting ends tonight and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the 10 days hard work I put in inviting people to vote would be enough for her to win in her age category (K-3).

We all know about spring cleaning – out with the old, in with the new, brightening up the house – but what about the bedroom? If you feel your bedroom furnishings are boring, you can always breathe new life into it with some awesome accessories that will brighten up the room. These simple suggestions are extremely easy to do, and won’t put a hole in your wallet.

Buy a Map and Mark Where You’ve Been

This great idea is not only functional but also looks good on your wall. If you’re a bit of a globetrotter, simply cross off each country you’ve visited and place a tick on the country you want to go to next. For a more innovative tip, paint the map silver then scratch off each country as you visit.

Create Your Own Cork Board

If you’re looking for a creative project that’ll not only look good, but also be useful, creating your own cork board is the way to go. All you need is a couple dozen actual corks from wine bottles, which is a pretty good excuse to drink a lot of wine! You can also ask your friends to save their corks if you’re not willing to buy the bottles yourself.

Buy Some Blackboard Paint, Or A Blackboard Sticker

Is your room covered in post- it-notes or scraps of paper? Need somewhere to write everything down where you can see it every day? Why not get some blackboard paint, or buy a blackboard sticker? They’re perfect for jotting down notes without having to hunt down some paper, and they look good, too!

Create Photo Frames out of Coloured or Patterned Tape

Framed photos of one’s friends and family look great in a bedroom, however the frames themselves can often get a little expensive if you have a lot of photos. To save money, you can simply frame them yourself using coloured paper or patterned tape. Add stickers or glitter to make them stand out more.

Install an Invisible Shelf for Your Books

Invisible shelves are a great idea for those who have little room for conventional bookshelves. By simply attaching them to your walls they give the impression that they are floating. Watch your friends and family do a double take upon entering the room!

Buy Some Fairy lights

Fairy lights can add a lovely romantic ambience to your bedroom. Use them during the day to brighten up the room, or during the night for a warmer tone. Simply arrange them around your bed, mirror, or window, and watch them transform your room. They’re also really cheap, so you can buy as much as you want.

These awesome accessories are a great way to brighten up your bedroom. They’re cool, creative, clever, and can potentially save you a lot of money. Do you have any ideas to share? Did a small change make a big difference for you? Remember to comment below.

Wedding Rings

I was  organizing my  jewelry and other blings and my kids  keep asking me  where I get every piece of it so that was kind of an enjoyable bonding for us.  They praised their Dad so highly for  being so generous and thoughtful.  They  asked me why we have tow sets of wedding bands I told them that we got married twice and that  their Dad wanted  a new set of rings   on our  second wedding.  Below uis the set of  wedding rings that we  have during our church wedding.

I have seen  beautiful wedding bands online and it makes me very happy that my husband has a taste when it comes to  selecting jewelry.  He wads the one who purchased our second wedding ring as he was in Guam that time.  The first wedding rings that we have  was purchased in  one of the Jewelry store at our  place.  It was  very simple as we did not really  think that we will be able to  tie the knot due to my  Dad's untimely passing but we did, hence, the  simple rings.
