Twenty ONE

This is one of the stores a the second floor  in Robinson Mall.  We  brought the kids  there so they can buy their present for us as they insisted that they have to buy one out of the money they saved from their  piggy bank.  I a not sure what is being sold in this store as I just took a quick snap of their sign as we  passed by.

Merry and Bright

Just some drive-by shots I took around the church at our community.  The lights are glowing merry and bright, celebrating the true meaning of this special occasion.  The moon also add  some glow.
We wish you all a  merry Christmas and a wonderful new year to come.

Calliou

If you have small kids at your home, you are probabaly familiar with the TV show Calliou.  My sister had this Christmas decor in her front yard.  I am  guessing that she made this herself.

Serenade with Flowers

Being apart from your loved one is  a very unpleasant feeling  especially during  this time of the year.  I was always so anxious for my petition papers to get done so I can be with my husband.  The funny thing is, I miss those extra especial things that he did when I was still living in my country like  sending me flowers   and other kinds of  stuff that he ordered online.  But then again, nothing can beat the feeling of being with your family all the time and besides he still give me flowers on occasion anyway.

The technology that we have these days makes sending flowers so convenient and easier.  All it takes is  a click of a mouse or a call from your cell phone and you can send flowers to  your special someone already.  You can find great deals on  flowers online especially if you dig a little deeper to   online flower store like the Serenata Flowers.  You can enjoy a free delivery on the flowers you order or you can get a special money saving coupon to use.
Three yellow roses they picked in the garden and gave to me.

I have been very fond of gardening ever since I was a kid so when  I moved here, I  seek help online for plant care because some of the plants here are new to me.  They are very different than the ones that I used to plant back home.  The good thing about having flowers around your house is that, sometimes when your husband is being romantic, he can serenade you with flowers without spending  a dime.  That's what my husband and my kids do  when my roses and other  flowering plants are in bloom.

Hopeful for new Life

I picked the last roses bulbs before it get frozen a couple of weeks ago but it did not fully bloomed.
I was surprised to see however, that a new life is coming out.
So I am hoping that this would live and when I transfer it to a soil, it will survive. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Santa Me

My wife was arranging photos yesterday when I arrived from school and she dug this out from our old photo album. It's a picture of me and my niece Jen when we were kids. I remember I had a matching suit with my plaid pants hahaha.
My wife arranged all my old photos in one album and they really have a good laugh with my hairstyle back then.

I am participating to my wife's Nostalgia. Would you like to share some photos of the past, join us.

Snow in October

These photos were taken when we had our very first snow flurries in October.
After that day, we had one in November, and today we had some but   it wasn't  heavy.
Although we haven't had  snow, it has been cold  for weeks now.

Golden Leaves Against Blue Sky

Taken during one of those last warm days we had last month.  The weather is getting so cold now that we barely  go out without  our thick clothing and stuff.

Unknown Ruby

Sometimes, even if its cold I go for a walk just to see some beauty such as the one above. It's a common type of plant during this time of the year where the red berry-like fruits are in full bloom. Does anyone know the name of this plant? I've seen one blog post and she call this a Holly.
