School Trips

Our Weekend Memoirs
Every time we fetch our daughter after school, we always brought our son with us so he will get use to going to school too. To complete his experience, he also brings his backpack that we bought when we were still in Korea.
The school is very near to our home so we only walk in going to and from there.
I am not sure what kind of living organism is this going in the bark of the tree but it sure does makes the tree pretty. What do you think?
We always leave the house extra early because our little man love to run around the field before we go straight to the gate.
For the past couple of days, the temperature dropped down from 80's to 50's over here so Fall is just around the corner.

Thank you for these photos, i enjoyed going for a walk to the school with you and your family. These are lovely shadow shots and yes, I think the lichen growing on the tree is like lovely lace.

It is great that he follows in her footsteps, so to speak. EJ will always look up to Rylie, and she will want to help him. He will be so ready for school!

Our daughter Allegra is 23 months older than Cameron, so she went to grade K 2 years before him. Yet, her tales of school were told and he was more than ready for grade K.

Rylie will help show him the way!

I bet he feels very grown up with that backpack on!! Great pictures - fall feels like it's one its way here as well....a welcome change in the temp - however, not sure we're really looking forward to winter quite yet!!

Walking back and forth to school
With my daddy is so cool.
I can hardly wait to go
As we travel to and fro
From our house and down the street;
All along the way I greet
Dogs and cats and bugs and such—
Daddy doesn’t mind too much;
He just wants to be with me.
(I’m his only son, you see.)
So he walks me to my school—
Gosh, my daddy is so cool!

One of the good things from doing a walk was that you get to see or notice things people sometimes fail to see (talking about the organism in the bark).

I think it's so sweet for the whole family to walk to the school to fetch Rylie. I am sure Rylie will never forget this small gestures.

My OWM post is late, but is now posted <a href='http://www.jennonthego.com/2010/09/fil-chinese-pagoda-la-union.html">HERE</a>. Hope you can hop by if you have the time. Happy new week!
