Gold and Rubies Here and There

My wife took these shots when we submitted our bid to the house in front of our home. After deliberation, we will notified that the bank did not accept any bid because it did not meet their expectation. Nobody would bid high on that house as it is so old. The reason why we wanted to buy it is because, we were going to fix it and rent it. My wife and I were happy that the bid was declined though lol.
On the other side of the bank is this DeeJay Restaurant which is a perfect subject for Ruby Tuesday and Mellow Yellow Monday hehehe.

Yes, sometimes NOT getting something can be a blessing in disguise. Your children look delightful. I hope you took them over to the restaurant for a bite to eat!!

Plenty of ruby reds to qualify for RT. Except I am partial to that faux palm tree sitting on the hill in the WV panhandle. Adorable trim, nice restaurant and the the good fortune to have the bid declined. Therefore, great day!

I live in a 112 year old house in Niagara Falls, Ontario area, and I own it fully, That said these old places are just charming, but expensive to modernize and make current. Still all worth it.
