John , thank you for visiting my site. The white peonys are lovely. The ants seem to crawl all over mine too The yellow centres are gorgeous when the sun shines on them and then they close again when the sun goes down.
I love pictures of flowers with insects on them! Neat series of photos. The first pic is my favorite, too. :-)
Beautiful flowers and the insects are a perfect touch! Great shadow shots for the day, John! Hope you and your family have a great weekend!Sylvia
Hi there John : ) Thanks for dropping by my blog !I didn't know wasps went for the peonies too ! .. I have ants on mine but I guess it only makes sense that other insects would be drawn to them as well .. great captures of the hungry wasp : )Joy

The peony is one of the prettiest flowers and your photos are wonderful. Great capture of the wasp also.
Ha!! Looks like we were thinking along the same lines John!! We just love peonies...and watching them bloom is really half the fun!Enjoy your week!
I love the angle/perspective of the first image! But, I think our planet would not do well if we did not have those pesky wasps...I just try to keep my distance!
The first shot is great.Have a good week ahead!
Wasps are so camera shy huh... but I am so scared of them. I hate the itchy blisters it can give you. Rose, be careful in taking pictures of wasps. I love the peonies by the way. :)
