Shopping at the Amish Store

roadtrip to Ohio won't be complete  if we don't shop at the Amish store called the Swiss Village.  It is a bulk store where you can buy  pretty much everything  that most  made by the Amish community.  One of the many things e we bought there that I love  is the pudding mix with coconut, it was really good.  I wish that there is an Amish community nearby so we could go there anytime but it's a long drive from where we are.
The kids love  roaming around inside the store because there are food  in every corner for tasting purposes.
I love to get their pasta and coconut  oil because they are not as expensive as the ones you find in the regular store.
Here's an example of a tasting corner.  Their salsa are really good.
If you love cheese, you can try different kinds.

The cashier gave both of the kids this wooden token for them to enjoy some perks when we come back and shop. They were told that they can enjoy an ice cream cone when they visit.

  18. I'd love to visit and see an Amish community. I only see one on TV. Anyway, it's awesome that they have a tasting corner in their store. At least you get to see first if you like the taste of something before you buy it.

  22. What's an amish? Just wondering, though. But lo, they got awesome items in store. Plus the fact that they also offer free food tasting, the more people should visit the place! It's something I would really love to give a try. Well, if only I am just a drive away.

  23. Zwitsy, the Amish are known for simple living, plain dress, and reluctance to adopt many conveniences of modern technology.
