I am glad

I am glad that I settled down when I was about to end my career in the service. Now that I am retired, I get to spend more time with my kids and wife. I chose not to work right away because I really want to spend valuable time with them now that they are still young. When they grow up, I know that they will have their own set of friends and my wife and I will be back to being just us. I know that we haven't that much in terms of finances but the more important thing is the quality time that we devote to our family.
See how fast they have grown? That is why, we have to really spend some quality time with our kids. This is my 19th Nostalgia entry. Please click the badge below to join.

your kids are beautiful. one of my friends who gave up a successful career to stay home and take care of her kids told me that kids won't remember how much money you gave them but they will remember how they were cherished.
