Low Carb Grocery Store

Social Networks are really are a big help to business and consumers as well because  they connect the two parties  efficiently.  I was browsing some of the  pages in Facebook  a while ago and I ran across  the Low Carb Grocery Store.  From the look of it, they provide  low carb  products that are perfect for those people who maintain a low-carb lifestyle.  That is one great advantage nowadays  because you get to pick the products that you  want to buy according to  the need of your body.  You have the power to choose what kind of product  you  need  for health reasons.
Say for instance, diabetic has  specific foods that they eat and with that being said, more and more  companies are providing  products that are  specifically designed for  people with diabetes.   Anyhow, you can check out the  selection of products from the store that I mentioned above.

Now let us talk about your lifestyle.  Do you track your carb or calorie intake?  Some people are very particular of what they eat.  This is especially true to those health buffs who maintain a healthy lifestyle.  For me, I eat whatever I want which  I probably need to change very soon as I am not getting any younger and I need to  pay attention to what I eat.  Oh well.

HandyShell for iPad from Speck

If you have kids at home  just like me, chances are that  your gadget would like to  fall  on the floor and if you do not have  a good protection from it, it would surely break.  Say for instance, your iPad, you can protect it with the HandyShell for iPad from Speck.  My daughter  loves using my iPad  and  she  can become quite clumsy sometimes and tend to  drop   the  gadget she is using when she is not paying attention or get distracted.

I love this HandyShell because you can bring your iPad when your cooking and hang it  from your kitchen cabinet or you can stand it in your kitchen  counter.  You do not have to go back and forth from your computer table to  the kitchen if you are looking for a recipe or  working on something.
The photo below is a better illustration of how  steady you can place your iPad using  the HandyShell.  Not only that it gives you the leverage to have  your iPad standing but it also protects it.  You can buy this  HandyShell for $54.95.  It is available in three colors (black/dark grey, black/yellow, and pebble and lilac).  With the photos below, you can see how convenient it is to have  the HandyShell.  (Photos below are not mine).

You can also watch  the  video  testimonial of one of the contented Mom like me who has kids and  found HandyShell a great  product to have for your iPad.

Thank you so much Speck for sending me the HandyShells!

Beautiful Properties We Saw on Our Road Trip

During our recent road trip, we passed by two states in order to get to our destination.  It's nice to go on a road trip because you get to see beautiful  views  and even highlands nc real estate and other  attractions.  I enjoyed  seeing  corn field and mountain views.  It's nice to see beautiful homes along the way as well.  Below are just some of the many  photos I took during our  road trip.  They are not as clear as I want it to be but it's hard to take drive by shots.
These are just some of the beautiful  properties we saw during our road trip.

Pretty Drinking Glass or Kids

My kids saw these  pretty  summer glasses in stores and asked  if they can have  one.  Since it was only a dollar and fifty cents, I bought each of them one.  They love using it with the glass straws that we have.  Perfect for  drinking their  milk and juice!

These are not really made of glass, not sure if  it's acrylic but they are pretty.    The floating  design is what attracts kids.

Ford F150 Truck for SALE!

My husband bought this  truck when we were renovating our basement.  We needed something big that could haul  heavy  stuff.  After our  home improvement project was done, it has been  sitting in front of our car.  Hubby seldom drives it as it  uses a lot of gas compared to the Honda car that we have.
Anyhow, we recently bought a van  so I told him that we should sell the truck as it has no use for us anyway.  We put new engine and a lot of new stuff to it such as muffler, brake pads, brake lining,  and water pump,  so it runs really good.
We are selling it for $3,000 or you can  make your best offer.  You may email us through the  email address located at the sidebar of  this blog.

Credit Report Dispute

Disputing credit reports is essential to lowering your overall debt and raising your credit score. However, the way that consumers go about credit repair often doesn't help them towards a better credit profile. Some of the essential mistakes include not disputing in writing and giving up after the first request for information. Debt collection agencies don't want to close your accounts or remove negative information even if it's false. That's why it's important you follow your credit report changes closely and never allow a creditor to make false claims against you.

Credit reports alter so many factors about people's lives. Lexington law has seen this firsthand and began helping people with credit issues. They've helped so many people raise their credit scores and get better rates for their mortgages, loans and car financing. If you have trouble with your credit, it's essential that you hire a debt counsel with legal experience as many debt collection agencies won't be able to prove that false information is correct when faced with legal action.

If you have a low credit score or just want your credit to look flawless, work with a legal counselor to ensure that debt collection agencies are fairly reporting your payments and settlements. You can increase your credit score in a matter of months just by getting negative accounts removed through disputing charges. This process is also completely free. All you have to do is get your free credit report from one of the credit bureaus to get started.

Babyliss for Men

When my husband went to Japan  to attend  school  two years ago,  he  bought a  hair cut set.  Since then,  he never  went to a  barber shop as we cut our own hair at home.  He only paid like $20 for the set but  it saved us  hundreds of dollars already.  Haircut can be  expensive depending on the place where you live.  Over here, the normal  charge for a hair cut in men is  right around $15-$20 then you still have to give tip.  So imagine if you need a hair cut every month, the cost can add up.

Anyway, the said hair cut set  still in great condition but it is always good to have a back up just in case.  That's why I am glad that  Beauty Stop Online has sent me this Babyliss for Men, a complete set  for cutting a short and even cut.  We were going to use it yesterday to cut my son's hair but it needs charging for 16 hours first.  It is now charged but  my son changed his mind and does not want his hair cut yet so I have to wait till my husband's hair  needs trimming again.

I love it that my husband  maintains a short  hair cut, it looks better on him.  He used to have a  hair cut like those of a sailor but I find it hard to evenly taper both sides so I suggested for him to just cut it even all around.

The set includes everything that you need to  cut a hair.  It has storage pouch, battery, com, oil, and cleaning brush.

The retail price for this is $89.99 but you can buy it at Beauty Stop Online for $65.99 which will save you $24.  This innovative home hair cutting system is  specially designed to maintain a short and even hair cut.  Thank you again B.S.O. for this another  great product you sent me for review!
******************
We finally used it   yesterday .  My daughter cut her brother's  hair  before we went to church.  She  used the Babyliss first but it  was a bit big for her tiny hands so  she switched to the old set that we have.  See the advantage of having this cutting hair set, even a child can do it, with an adult supervision of course.  My kids always helped me whenever I cut my husband's hair.

So you've landed the perfect job. Congratulations! Now all you need to do is find the perfect work clothes for your job. Professional clothing is essential when it comes to surviving in the business world. Good, high quality work clothes show that you not only take pride in your job, but that you take pride in yourself. When you decide to buy some clothes, first get your measurements. It's important to know exactly what size you wear, especially if you plan to shop online. Measure yourself or visit a local clothing store to get professionally measured. Many department stores office this service free of charge and no purchase is necessary.

Next, consider what style of clothing you need. Is it summer time? Will you primarily be working outdoors or will you be in a chilly office? Will you be most comfortable in skirts or slacks? What will your colleagues be wearing? The clothing you pick should be appropriate for the office you will be working in but also comfortable and flattering to your body shape.

Finally, start shopping. Look online for the best deals. Check out dickies.com or some of your other favorite websites to find clothing that makes you feel good about yourself and confident in your decision to buy clothes for your job. Remember, you can only perform as well as you feel, so make sure you feel your best.

Chrysler Town & Country 4dr Wgn Touring 2012

During our  getaway in Texas, the package that we  got  for our travel, included a  Town and Country van to drive around.  My husband love it that when we came back, he looked for the same vehicle for sale.  We found  a used one at Staffilino dealership in Ohio.  It has a 21,747 and was valued $2,000 less than it's value from the blue book so  we jumped on the deal.

With our kids growing up, our Honda Accord is getting smaller for us especially when we bring our dogs with us. My husband has been talking to me about buying  a van for the last couple of years but I kept saying no. For one, I did not want the stress of having a monthly car  loan payment and second, I am terrified of driving. I had my license from 8 years ago but I drove maybe 5 times on those years.

Don't raise your eyebrows on me, I never  drove in my life till I met my husband.  I  used to live in my country where public transportation is everywhere and only rich people have their own car. When I came here in the US, I have to have a license because most of the times,  business establishments  ask for it whenever you deal a  business with them.

This 2012 Town and Country Touring is a 4 wheel drive and lots of features that we like.  What I like the most is the back up camera as I am horrible in backing up.  In fact, I hate the parking part of driving.  Driving on the road is not a problem for me but the parking.  I am also have a horrible sense of direction so I could never  drive  farther than Weirton.

This is a fully loaded van which is why even if it is a Chrysler one, hubby likes it.  He  prefers Honda  car so I was really shocked that he liked this one

This van is a stow and go with  foldable  seats, sliding doors, and lots of other   neat features such as DVD player with monitor for the kids to watch their movie.  It's a nice van, I must admit.  I just hope that I could shake off this  fear of driving that I have in me.  I took them for a  short drive yesterday and I was so nervous.  Luckily, we didn't wreck so that was  a good start lol.  So wish me luck!

This is by the way one of my husband's birthday gifts to me aside from the trip to Texas.  Thanks Hon!

How Your Lifestyle Affects Bowel Function

After passing through your top floor digestive tract, the large intestine takes the heat off the small intestine, pancreas and liver, a last minute stop on the extraction trail. If the large intestine or colon, as it’s also called, can’t process the remaining waste the way it’s supposed to, blockages and other complications will occur. Anything from constipation, to irritable bowel syndrome or more dramatically, bowel cancer.

Defecation is a vital facet of gastro intestinal and pelvic floor health; your lifestyle could be directly responsible for bloating, constipation, gas build up and unpredictable bowel movements. Are you taking care of your bowels?

Exercise

The human body is an organic machine; exercising stimulates movement, muscle tension and release, chemical reactions and finally, colon activity. Getting a move on will help motivate a stubborn bowel into pushing food waste down the right channels, reducing food travel time down the large intestine. Go for a swim, get outside or go for a short walk at lunchtime; relieving your mind will also maintain a healthy digestive, respiratory and emotional state.
Tip: Don’t head straight to the gym, park or pool after a big meal. Chill out for an hour before burning into the calories.

Stress

When was the last time you relaxed? Let the worries of the day float away, reclining with slip of scotch, watching the sun sink over the horizon and work, unsaddled from your mind. It’s probably been a long time. Emotions influence the chemical reactions of the body on the brain-gut axis; digestive tract nerve endings are triggered by nerves, fear, anger, anxiety and fatigue. Emotions can manifest, speeding food through the digestive tract, prompting abdominal contractions and diarrhoea. Conversely, digestive enzymes can instead take their time, secreting minute amounts and causing constipation. Stress and anxiety are the natural enemies of the human body, exacerbating a myriad of physical symptoms and promoting the hold of toxic conditions. Manage stress by enrolling in an afternoon yoga course, unwinding twice a week and making new friends; taking a bubble bath after a particularly horrible day or meditating, accepting the events of the day and releasing them.

The In-Tray

A well-oiled, organic machine needs fibre, water and oxygen to function, day in day out. A low fibre or limited diet is starving your body of essential nutrients and mitigating its ability to produce waste. High-fibre devotees are less likely to become constipated or suffer from bloating, relying on laxatives less to prompt the healthy passage of waste. If you’re lacking fibre, load up on fruits, vegetables and whole grains, and minimise cheese, eggs, dairy and meats. Drink plenty of water to flush out toxins and regulate your system – H20 encourages pipe flow, thickening stools and building a healthier you.

As our national diet continues to decline and weight associated health problems threaten lives, bowel health is becoming increasingly important. If you need a quick fix cause the feeling is beyond uncomfortable try Dulcolax for relief of constipation. Every lifestyle choice has a consequence. Make sure your choices are helping you get the best out of life.
