Victoria's Secret Lotion

Someone gave me these set of Victoria's Secret lotion last year. She said that she got these as a gift  but   she doesn't   use scented  lotion.
When I was younger, I suffered from a skin  disorder called "Xeroderma", a mild form of ichthyosis characterized by abnormal dryness and roughness of the skin.  Did you know how my mother treated it?  Coconut milk!  She  would let me apply a fresh coconut milk to my skin and it really  solved the problem.

Biker Babe

Ms. Burrito chose this Biker Babe froggie to give to her Tita Chris for her birthday.  We bought it at Kmart.
I took a shot of this  at my FIL's wall when we celebrated Chris' birthday.

Potato Masher

My daughter and husband love mashed potato so much so we bought this potato masher last week. There's no sense of using our big mixer just to whip up three potatoes.
This does the job pretty good so I am happy with my purchase.  This cost $4.69 at Walmart.
This is perfect for mashing  potatoes, cooked beans, and hotdogs.

Plastic Wrap

Believe it or not, this plastic wrap is almost 5 years old. We bought this in 2007 before we went to Korea. We have been using it since. This Presto clear plastic wrap has 500 sq ft long.  We only paid $3.99 for it.  As you can see the box   is so worn out already  but am so satisfied with this product especially the price that we paid for.

Layer Cake Pan

We bought a layer cake pan  last week.  Hubby loves baking cake more than me so he was the one who picked this up lol.

My birthday celebration was very simple , yet the happiest and meaningful one as I celebrated it with my family.  My father-in-law also came to celebrate with us, thanks Dad, it means so much to me!
Happy Father's Day to my FIL and husband and to all the Dads in the world!

Simply Outdoors Shorewood

We bought this Simply Outdoors Shorewood 4 Pc. White Wicker Coastal Set after we got our income tax return.  This is the only  purchase we made from  that return, we used the rest  to pay off one of our credit card with interest.  We got it on sale when Sears  had their Spring sale.

Our porch wasn't wide enough so we have to put it  long ways.  The table top has a tempered glass and required a little assembly so the kids help  out Dad to put it together.  It's nice to have a  furniture  outside because  we can really enjoy our newly built front porch and enjoy the warm weather.
I think I would like to put a carpet on the  porch floor but that would be a next project to think about.
It's funny, hubby is talking me into   having a sun porch built at the back.  Right now, we have a  skinny  back porch out there and  he wants to widen the space by  removing the existing porch and replace it with an enclosed  sun porch but much bigger.  I told him that we can't do it this year since we still have to pay off  the rest of the loan we made last year.  We spent almost $22,000 for the   building of the front  porch and we still have  like seven grand left to pay.  Our goal is to have it paid by the end of this year.   The good thing is, we  split this amount and transferred it to a 0% interest  offer that we got so we are not paying any interest.

My husband is very good in envisioning  projects  but my  responsibility is to make sure that we have   the money we need before we start the project.  Too much debt stresses me out.  So let us see if  we can do it in the next years to come, I hope!

Seed and Suet

This high energy formula is one of the favorite foods of the birds that regularly visits our backyard.  This attracts a wide variety of wild birds.  This type of  bird seeds cost 92 cents at Walmart.

Can Rolling Cooler

We decided to buy a can rolling cooler to bring at our trip to Kennywood last weekend. This Ozark Trail 42 Can Rolling Cooler with removable hardliner,  can easily be cleaned using mild liquid dish soap (both interior and exterior). It has PVC and LEAD free lining.  We like it  because it is easy to carry and it  has antimicrobial treatment.
Even the little one was  eager to  carry the cooler.  This  cost $29.97 at Walmart.

Rice Variety

We used to buy Calrose Rice because it tastes good, the problem is that it gets bad easily. So we switched to Jasmine rice, it smells good but it doesn't taste as good as the calrose rice.  Now, we're back to Calrose because  there is no Jasmine Rice at Walmart, sigh.
Aside from this regular rice, I also like Uncle Ben's  wild rice which I buy  once in a while. What kind of rice do you buy?
