Some pain killers can be addicting if you become dependent to it such as percocet. My wife's OB GYNE prescribed that to my wife when she gave birth to our two children. She was a lot of pain due to the C-Section that she had with those two deliveries. Fortunately, my wife had a bowel movement problem because of it so she stop using the drug.
She was spared from opiate addiction and I am glad because this kind of drugs can really get you addicted. I have read online that there are some medicines that can help you with an easy withdrawal for this addiction.
