Nostalgia # 20 - Humor

Aside from sweets, humor also runs in my family's blood. My father is always full of humor and when you talk to him, it wouldn't be a dull moment. The same way with my other siblings, we laugh and joke when we are all together.
These two shots were taken during Rylie's second birthday at my brother's house in New Cumberland. We decided to held it there since he was hosting a 4th of July party so it was a blast. Above photo is my sister and below is my Dad. Now can you imagine us being serious when we are all together?

FALL - it's beauty!

Our daughter is growing up so thoughtful and creative.  She picked up some leaves  from the school field and brought it home.  She made a tree out of it and gave it to her teacher.
Fall is really a beautiful season.  Even the mind of a five year old is drawn to it.
How do you rate our artist?
Have a great week ahead everyone!  It's me again writing here at my  husband's  blog, right now, he is killing himself studying for his calculus test on Friday.

Polar Bear

These photos were taken at Pittsburgh Zoo. I believe this polar bear was added only a couple of years ago but I might be wrong. He seemed to be restless when we were there.

School Trips

Our Weekend Memoirs
Every time we fetch our daughter after school, we always brought our son with us so he will get use to going to school too. To complete his experience, he also brings his backpack that we bought when we were still in Korea.
The school is very near to our home so we only walk in going to and from there.
I am not sure what kind of living organism is this going in the bark of the tree but it sure does makes the tree pretty. What do you think?
We always leave the house extra early because our little man love to run around the field before we go straight to the gate.
For the past couple of days, the temperature dropped down from 80's to 50's over here so Fall is just around the corner.

Weirton Medical Center - Nostalgia # 17

We went to Weirton Medical to visit a friend who gave birth to their first born and seeing this building brings back memories when my wife gave birth to our daughter. It was a scary moment for me because I saw it with my two naked eyes when our daughter's heartbet suddenly stopped.
My wife was dilating really good for a couple of hours and the ephidural was already given. I was sitting beside her, watching the monitor both for her and the baby and when the baby's heartbeat stopped, mine went fast! I hurriedy call the nurse and ask what went wrong. They rushed Rose to the Er and immediately did a C-section operation. t turned out that Rylie's cord wrapped around her neck. That was so close, we almost lost our first born. Glad that od was with us that time!
It is important to pray to God in ever chance we get as He would always protect us from harm.

Nostalgia # 16 - The Baby has Arrived!

The photo above was taken at our friend's house more than three years ago when EJ was about 4-5 months old. Our friend Raquel love kids and she really like ours. Well today, she gave birth to her first born, a baby girl. Congratulations guys, good luck to those sleepless nights lol. When I first saw Raquel on their porch, I told my wife to befriend her but my wife is so timid that if no one will approach her first, she won't talk to them. Anyhow, we formally met the couple when we first attended the Fil-Am Christmas party. We became good friends and now they are like sisters.

We would also like to greet Kelly a happy birthday!

Sun Flower

This is the sunflower that grow at the side of our house. We did not plant it, I think the bird spared a seed and planted him a new one hehehe.
It's huge and bees love it.
The seed would be a good food for them next year.
Have a lovely weekend fellas!
