Now that both my wife and I have good credits, the offers from different credit card company is pouring in the mailbox. It is tempting to take one as they really do offer good rates and terms. Before leaving Korea last year, my wife managed to paid off three of the credit cards that has high balances.
Now, there are two credit cards that she let us keep for purchase purposes in order to save points where you can redeem rewards later on. There is also one that I recently opened up just to buy my books and monitor my school expenses. It's definitely a plus if your credit is good because you get to enjoy the benefits of 0% for balance transfer and purchases.
That is why it is very important to build a good credit especially if you are planning to buy a home as you can get a very low interest rate on mortgage.
