My wife showed me this video that she found at Youtube. I am currently working on finishing my college degree but also offered by my college to take the acceleration program so I can continue my degree into a graduate degree. As I watched the video, I got interested because Math and Science are my strength when it comes to academic stuff. I might consider this if the program that my school is offering me does not work out good.
Now according to the information available at www.wwteachingfellowship.org, a candidate will have to have a graduated 3.0 GPA, be able to demonstrate a commitment to the program and its goals, and have completed an undergraduate degree in a STEM field by June 2011. Oh man, I could have qualified for their program if I did not switched to another course.
So do you think you can change the world? You might not be, but you can definitely change theirs through becoming a competitive and efficient teacher for young generation. If your strong points are math and science as a teacher, you can work your master's degree through the $30 thousand stipend that Woodrow Wilson offers. You can complete an intensive master's degree in teacher education paid for by the above mentioned foundation.
