Fawn

During the first day of our daughter's school. We went to fetch her early so we have to stand by in front of the church where the kids will be sent by the prospective teachers. While waiting, my son and I went on the side of the church and saw something. I thought that it was a statue at first but then the eyes of the fawn moved.
She was just laying and relaxing there like she was having a very good time.
But then she ran away when the kids started going out from the school. I am glad that she let me take some pictures though.
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Nostalgia # 15 - Old Job

One thing that I discovered when we went for a walk at Panhandle Trail is my old job. The building at the background was the mill where I worked as maintenance crew and a line assembler for a while. It's funny that I work there before but I never knew Panhandle trail lol. It goes to show that I was away for a long time when I joined the navy!. Sharing this one to my wife's Nostalgia series.

Rock Collection

Every time we go for a walk, our son would always pick up some rocks. He love collecting rocks. My wife even brought some of the rocks that he collected when we were still living in Korea. It's funny because our neighbor are rock collector too so he gave EJ some of his. The photo below are the rocks that he collected from our last walk in Panhandle Trail. Our son neatly arranged those rocks and our daughter took the photo.

Wild Beauties

My wife can't go without our camera in her purse. She can forget the house key but not the camera hahaha. She always wants to take photos wherever we go. Below are the wild beauties that she took pictures of when we went for a 4-mile walk at Panhandle Trail
Can you see the clear water on the first photo? Yup, below that yellow flower is a small river where wild ducks and fish enjoy their days.
Above is a rich-colored flower which look exotic to me.
If anyone can identify these flowers, please share it through your comments. I don't have any knowledge regarding flowers lol.
My favorite one was this wild flower of the grass that she took. ain't that a beauty? Have a blessed Snday everyone and thanks for your visits and comments.

Shadowy Clouds

These were taken three weeks ago when we went to the Oriental store in Pittsburgh PA. My wife can't take it without looking up at the sky while I am driving and take pictures of the clouds. I think my favorite among these shots is the the second one. How about you?
Have a nice weekend everyone!

Flower Ball Bouquet

One of the many things that we miss being in Korea are the gorgeous ornamentals that you will see everywhere. Just like the flower ball bouquet (not really sure what it's called lol) that is in Masan. Isn't that gorgeous? Korean people are very ornate and creative when it comes to beautifying their place.

Fish on the Lake

I took this shot when we had our 4 mile walk at Panhandle Trail a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe that their are so many big fish on the lake. The kids had so much watching the birds, butterflies, ducks and all kinds of natural beauty at the said trail.

Raccoon Creek on Weekend

We were invited to celebrate the birthday of our friend from Pittsburgh and Raccoon Creek is the venue. Raccoon is a great plac during summer because kids can enjoy the lake and run around in the huge field. You can also do a little trekking through their trail at the side of the mountain.
Some people go there to fish, some just to relax or do their sun bathing.
Why is love handles cute when it is on kids?Have a nice and safe weekend everyone!

Nostalgia # 12 - Our Baby is Becoming a Little Lady

These shots were taken when our daughter was just nine months old. We still lived at my father's home back then.
She is wearing the clothes and hat that my sister Chris made for her.
I miss those days when Rylie was still a baby. Now she is turning into a little lady. Oh how time flies. She will start school in three weeks. Are you feeling nostalgic? Join us by clicking the badge below.

Gold and Rubies Here and There

My wife took these shots when we submitted our bid to the house in front of our home. After deliberation, we will notified that the bank did not accept any bid because it did not meet their expectation. Nobody would bid high on that house as it is so old. The reason why we wanted to buy it is because, we were going to fix it and rent it. My wife and I were happy that the bid was declined though lol.
On the other side of the bank is this DeeJay Restaurant which is a perfect subject for Ruby Tuesday and Mellow Yellow Monday hehehe.
