The house that my wife and I bought 4 years ago was built in 1950 so it's a bit old. We remodeled and replaced most of the interior parts as they are outdated. Due to my last assignment in the service, my family and I lived overseas for almost two years so the renovation of the house was put on hold. Now that we're back, I am starting to take care of the renovation one at a time. the fence project is done so my wife and I are planning to update the look of the front house as the concrete of the porch is falling apart. I also would like to put some stone on top of the old brick to update the look a little bit.
However I don't have savings for it, if my wife and I can find some good deal on personal loans, I would be able to push through this project. I was trying to find out from the bank if refinancing the house is a good option. But let us see what my wife and I can come up with. She likes the idea of upgrading the look of the house just to give it a curb appeal but she is also worried about the finances.
