Dog Lover

With our two children, our daughter is the one who love dogs. Our son likes to play with our two dogs sometimes but not as much as Rylie does.
It's fun to watch her most of the times because she talks to our dogs constantly like a human being.
Champ is very hyper so she loves our adopted Pomeranian, Chelsea. I just wish that Chelsea would quit running away from us. I don't know if she still wants to go home with her original owner or she doesn't like us.
She ran away again today when our son left the gate open. Glad that she wasn't hit by a car when she crossed the road. A concern citizen from Auto Zone called us and informed us that they had her.
Look how she is posing for a picture hehehe.
Thanks for dropping by folks and have a good weekend.

Twigs

I like this shot that my wife took when we visited my sister. I think, it would be a great subject for a painting. I wish everyone a lovely weekend.

Bugs

These are the bugs/insects that we found when we visited Tomlinson Run a couple of weeks ago. I always inspect every place that my kids wants to sit or ride into so these little bugs did not escaped my eyes. The first one is kinda harmless but the second looked like it can harm you when he bites.

Nostalgia # 1 - ROK Navy Souvenirs

I am joining my wife's Nostalgia series post which will start tomorrow. My first entry is the set of display mini-mugs or cups that she bought when we had our indoctrination when we first got there in Chinhae, my last deployment. Indoctrination is a mandatory program for all the service members and their spouses in order for you to be oriented with your new place of assignment. It includes tours from different places and some discussion.

Come and join the fun every Thursday by posting some old photos, souvenirs, or other stuff that could take you back in memory lane. Just click the badge to join and have some fun.

Soft shade of Sunset

Doesn't it look like a lightning struck the post?
My wife took this shot the other day when the sun was setting. Taken at our front porch, she barely caught the sun but I think it makes it more gorgeous like that. With the electric post and the roof of the house in front of us plus the trees.. PERFECT!

Spring Color

One thing I like about Spring is the beautiful color that it brings to the nature. You will see lots of beautiful colors as Spring kicks in. We love to drive around in this time of the year because of the gorgeous flowers and plants.
Thanks for dropping by folks!

I received the swiss knife that I suppose to test and review from IZEA the other day. I like it because it has so many features that I could use. This is not a the review yet, I just want to share this in here.
Thanks for visiting. Sorry if I wasn't able to visit your blogs for days now, I am just so busy with our fence project at home. But I'll follow you back when you follow this blog or my other blog.

Momma Robin

First of all happy mother's day to all the Momma bloggers and to all the Moms out there. Since it is mother's day, I would like to present this Momma Robin who lives in our back porch. She has a nest there that she uses every year This year, she has three eggs and they are now hatched and getting ready to fly.
Whenever we come out the back porch, she is always on guard watching us.
I think she's worried that we are going to mess on her nest so she's always watching.
What she doesn't know is that we are always watching her to take some pictures.
See her, she's on the look out. Very protective of her little babies.
I think every Moms are like that, very protective of their children! Hope all the Mommies will have a terrific Mother's Day celebration this Sunday!

My wife and Chelsea

My wife love our adopted dog, Chelsea. Every time I would say something against Chelsea, my wife would immediately defend her hehehe. Our daughter took this shot when we were digging the holes for our fence while my wife is pampering her dog.
That's how spoiled Chelsea is from Rose.

Cherry Lake Revisited

When I was a child, my parents would take me fishing, during the summertime, to a place called Cherry Lake. My mom liked to fish here because a fishing license wasn't required. The other day, my family and I were in the area so took a drive by the lake to show them one of my childhood fishing holes. I was amazed that after all these years, it still looks exactly the same, just much much smaller. I said to myself, "this looks more like a pond than a lake". Tomlinson Run State Park is just up the road but the fishing is much better here. If you like trout, this is the place to fish.
I've told my kids stories about this lake and the things that I encountered here as a child. It was nice that they could finally see it for themselves so that they would have an accurate picture in their minds the next time it becomes a bedtime story topic.
I remember sitting on this old covered bench with my mom and dad over thirty years ago. It looked really old and rickety when I was a child, I'd be a little apprehensive to sit on it now...hehehe
In recent years, the Canadian Geese have flocked to our area (along with seagulls). I have no idea what brought them here but it would be nice if they'd leave. They are very messy but photogenic.

Guilty as charged!

Please forgive me, I couldn't hold it anymore.. it was an accident. I promise it won't happen anymore..
That is how Champ look whenever he commits accidents of peeing inside the house. He is getting pretty good though. One thing that I can say about this dog, he is a gOOd dog.
