Explaining and Bonding with Pap.

Photos were taken when my wife and I went to pick up our car in Baltimore. We left our children wtih my dad (Thanks a lot Dad). We took a few pictures before we left. I am glad that our kids get to experience bonding with my father. I had no such luck with my grandpap because he passed away before I was born.

Whenever our kids are at Dad's, he likes to wear his worn out shirt and pants with holes in them because the kids like to give him a hard time for it lol.

It's a joy to see your kids bonding with their grandparent. Too bad my Mom was not around anymore to enjoy their presence.
Champ stole a kiss from EJ's cheeks hahaha.

This is how our son looks like when he is seriously explaining something to us.

He gets frustrated whenever he wants to tell us something and we can't figure out what it is hehehe. I mean he can speak clearly already but due to his frustrations, he can't seem to accurately convey his message lol.
Have a great weekend everyone.

The things the grandkids will learn from grandpa is the want of learning, to work hard, and to hold commitments important. In their fun bonding, the will love and learn, it is so nice that you left your beauties with him for this time...

Nice visiting with you today!

One of my fondest memory of my grandfather is when he comes home, and he's seated on his fave chair, I'd go up to his side and comb his head (he had few white hairs on his head!), he thinks it's funny.

Adorable photos. Both my granddads were dead before I was born too. It was extra important to me for my 2 children to know my daddy (probably because I always felt that loss). Have a good week!

You captured moments to treasure as memories forever. Family time is so important and your kids will always remember their time with their Pap too. I found their shadows on the wall.

Just like you, I never got the chance to bond with my grandpap. My kids too have the same fate -- its only my daughter who bonded with granddads for a short time.

I am sure your dad enjoyed is as well.

Hi John, what children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance.
They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humor, comfort, lessons in life. And, most importantly, cookies.

Beautiful pics, John.
By the way, is that the Canadian Rocky Mountains in your blog header? Nice.
Have a nice day, Lee.

Hi John, I forgot, I had 2 grandfathers, 6 grandmothers. I guess old days no TV, ha ha....only place no relatives is Iraq and the Antarctic, ha ha, Lee.
